Meetings
Meetings are an excellent way to keep up with what is happening at the school, and often we feature engaging talks by guest speakers. Meeting minutes are published online and are available in the school’s main office.
Except for the first meeting, meetings are held over Zoom (check your email for the link). The Executive Board meets from 6-6:30PM (all welcome), and the General PTA meeting is 6:30-7:30 PM.
Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2024 - First PTA meeting of the year! Held in person. We had great attendance, lots of Bardware purchases, and delicious food including some homemade baked treats (thank you to those who baked!). We heard from Principal Laura Hymson and Assistant Principals Kathy Pham and Redell Armstrong, as they addressed our questions about the upcoming year. Read the meeting minutes.

Fundraising and Upcoming Events
The PTA hosts several fundraising events over the school year:
The Saturday Symposium held on Saturday, April 5th was an inspiring success. We loved welcoming existing and incoming families to learn from our amazing faculty and student scholars. If you didn't have a chance to attend, we hope to see you next year!
The Spring Fling is the most exciting night of the year! Join us Wednesday, May 21st, 6 - 9:30pm at the incredible Bogart House in Brooklyn. Our annual fundraiser event plus faculty/staff appreciation party is not to be missed! Come eat, drink, dance, bid on cool auction stuff, take in the view from the open-air rooftop lounge, and chat with other parents and our kids' amazing teachers.
Please join our Bard - Queens Spring 2025 Book Club on Wednesday, June 4th from 6:30-7:30pm. This is your chance to experience what it's like to be in a Bard Queens seminar, which will be led by our Principal, Laura Hymson, Ph.D. We will be reading the modern American classic, The Autobiography of Malcolm X. Register to join.
